The End of the World is Coming
Well at least a lot of people believe it is.
On Dec 21, 2012 the Mayan Calendar ends; on the same date the earth, sun, and center of the Milky Way galaxy are perfectly aligned; the solar flare cycle reaches it's peak; the I-Ching predicts some horrible event. These and other prophetic messages from history suggest that if the world doesn't end that day, then something bad will happen to civilization at that time.
Operating on the assumption that the end of the world really just means the end of technology, we'll learn and teach as much about turning nature to our advantage as possible. Everything from how to find suitable drinking water to what plants are safe to eat, how to hunt, build shelters, and live without electricity or other people.
Mixed in we can have a survive a zombie attack lesson and even survival techniques in the event of an asteroid, gigantic solar flare, global earthquakes and tsunamis, or a switch in the polar alignment.
